Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time position with school districts in the Junction City, OR area. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students speech and language development through screenings and formal evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs, ensuring progress toward goals.
- Provide direct therapy services for students with speech and language disorders, in individual or small group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success in the classroom and beyond.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet the students evolving needs.
- Conduct IEP meetings and provide detailed reports on student progress.
- Provide guidance and support in managing communication challenges, including speech delays, stuttering, language disorders, and social communication difficulties.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license (required).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and meet local school district standards.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
